Is this too much for a group of polits

I was offered a group of breeding F1 polits. There is one gorgeous male and 4 females. I have already seen these guys and they are very nice and he had 3 of the females holding last time I was there. Unfortunately he wants $75 for the whole group. I wanted to find out from any of you if this sounds like a fair deal or that it is not worth it. If I can get him down to $65 for the group would this still be too much?

Ok guys, I have done some searching and all kinds of stuff. So I am hoping to get some the cyno afras jalo reef sometime, just won't be happening yet. But I can get some F2 yellow labs, I will get 8 of them for now and find which ones are males and females and take any males out until I get at least 1M:3-4F. I will also be trying to get a group of the cynos 1M:4F hopefully. Then I was also looking into getting either the metriaclima sp msobo deep, a group of 5 of these as well, or the group of ...

I was just wondering if the pseudotropheus polit and cynotilapia afras (maybe a Jalo reef) can go together? I would like to buy about a 55 gallon tank and put some other mbuna in it. Problem is I want to see if they will still show dominant colors if they are in the same tank with each other. If not then I will have to get one or the other when I get this tank. I couldn't get my last pair of polits to color up when they were in our 90 gallon, and I couldn't get anymore females at the time. But ...

i am usually good with mbunas and i have 10 yellow labs, 4 acei, 6 white top hara, and 1 c moorii. so i always go this question my head...if i add one demasoni...would he bother the white top hara since they look kind of similar? my white top haras are very peaceful in my tank. or would the demasoni just mind his own business?

I took lots of pics of Bonnie and Clyde having fun last nite. Dashing around the tank and doing the wiggle. Les the Auratus and John the Johanni were trying to get in on it. They had not spawned before I went to bed but when I looked in the tank this afternoon I noticed Bonnie is holding. She has a bigger mouthful this time than the last. Henry I am so excited I can't stop bouncing. I guess taking nasty Ken out of the tank was probably a good idea. Bonnie's kids are now 3/4 inch and growing ...

I have two empty 55's, and would like to start up a few breeding colonies. I was thinking of putting two different species groups in each tank.

Here are the species I am interested in:

Psudotropheus saulosi

Metriaclima Msobo Magunga (although I just read that the females fight among themselves!)

Cynotilapia Hara Gallireya Reef (I have searched and can't find a picture of the female, though)

Cynotilapia Cobue Orange back

Labidochromis Red Top Kimpuma

Out of that group, will ...

Bought 7 more Mbunas yesterday. Another female Rustie, 3 more yellow labs and a trio of Estharae, 1m 2f. The male is a good 3 inches, bigger than I wanted but so far not a problem. Seems quite placid. So far I've got:
3 Rusties, 1m 2f
3 Red Zebras 1m 2f
2 Ice Blues
6 yellow labs

I've noticed also that the male Rustie who was tank boss until my male Red Zebra came is now showing vertical bars. Just wondering why this is?

Since my polit male is not coloring up in my 90 gallon, I was wondering if anyone thinks if I should try and breed them next? I only have 1 female right now for him, but I will get a couple more if I do. So after the Kenyis are done with the 20 gallon, should I remove them and put the polits in there? I am just disappointed he is not showing any color in my 90 gallon since he is not dominant ...
