| I believe this is my burundi frontosa, but it could be one of my mpimbwe blue. I guess you guys will know, lol I am so bad with them because they all look very similar right now. He is still only about 3-3 1/2". I know I have 2 mpimbwe blue and 1 burundi.

| Very nice. He is so cute. I like them when they are small. Your right that is a burundi. The mpimbwe will have a mask on front of face that usually wraps around the face, goes through the eyes then curves down onto the cheek area. instead of long vertical stripe eye stripe that is straight up and down on a burundi. Tanz and zaire have masks and burundi types have stripe.
I also have burundi and mpmibwe. I find the mpimbwe are much more outgoing and not so shy. More active in the tank as well. Do you agree ? _________________ Cichlid keeper for 23 years. | Yeah I agree. My mpimbwe tend to be less shy. I figured it was the burundi, thanks |
